John M. Brown Community Center
Summit Room
Apex, NC
April 6, 3-4:30PM (followed by dinner)
Triangle Freethought Society (TFS) welcome Brittany Page and Jesse Dollemore of the I Doubt It Podcast. Brittany and Jesse apply skepticism and critical thinking to the day's political news and encourage their listeners to engage by heavily incorporating voicemails and emails into the show to move the conversation forward.
Their talk will describe their respective journeys from evangelicalism, white supremacy, and conservative politics to progressive activism.
Brittany Page is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and host of the "Page Perspective" on YouTube. Jesse Dollemore is a former U.S. Marine and host of the "Dollemore Daily" on YouTube. They reside in Washington, DC, with their bulldog (and show mascot) Swee'Pea. You can follow them on social media @Dollemore, @BrittanyEPage, and @IDoubtItPodcast! (And yes, their dog has an Instagram account, @BullySweePea. They're those people...)
While this event is open to the public and all are welcome, this is not a time or place for debate or evangelizing. Anyone causing a disturbance or making others uncomfortable will be asked to leave.
