From Seminary to Skeptic with Jon Michael
July Program Meeting
Morrisville Historic (Former) Christian Church
Morrisville, NC
Sunday, July 12 | 1:30-3:30 pm
Join us for our monthly program meeting. A dedicated time for us to gather together each month.
Meet Jon Michael, from our friends over at Triangle Skeptics. A former ghost hunter, now an Investigator of Paranormal Claims without a preconceived notion of what he’ll find.
In this presentation, "From Seminary to Skeptic," Jon will talk about being raised by arch-conservative Southern Baptist Grandparents, his time at Southeastern College at Wake Forest, becoming a ghost hunter, and how being taught critical thinking skills led him to becoming a skeptic. He will also go over his current adventures engaging with the Paranormal Community, why we should spread critical thinking, and how you too can get involved in engaging with those around you with potentially false beliefs.
