Paddling Lake Wheeler
Lake Wheeler Park Boat Ramp
6404 Lake Wheeler Road | Raleigh, NC
Saturday, April 25 | 10AM - 1PM
Come out to enjoy fresh air with your fellow secular folk! We’ll paddle kayaks and stand up paddle boards on Lake Wheeler. Some participants may gather for a picnic lunch after the paddle.
There is public access for those bringing their own boats. If you need to rent a boat, choose a 2 hr rental from 9 AM - 11 AM from the Waterfront Center. You’ll pick up your equipment and carry it 50 yds to the lake shore where TFS can help you get comfortable in the boat.
Reserve weeks in advance to be assured a rental. Parking is plentiful.
8:30 - 9:00 AM: Check out rental gear and cary boats to shore
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Paddle Lake Wheeler
11:15 AM - 12:00 PM: BYO Picnic Lunch
What to expect at TFS Paddle events:
